A powerful blend of soulful, heartfelt and stylistic vocals is the prime essence of U-
NĒK APROACH, a seven-piece R&B Band based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
Teasing your soul with grooving rhythms and stroking your ears with undeniably
smooth vocals, U-NĒK APROACH is a combination of R&B, soul and hip hop music
with a dose of funk thrown in. This mixture brings together the traditional feel of vocal-
oriented R&B with the freshness and feel of today's sounds hence the group's self-
descriptive name.
Collectively, U-NĒK APROACH have been actively performing for over ten years. Their
seasoned experiences include being nominated in the category of Best R&B Group for
the 1997 Pepsi Boston Music Awards, placing first in the BIV 10 Talent Search ("BIV" of
Bell, Biv, Devoe), opening-up for nationally known acts such as Tevin Cambell, After
Seven, LL Cool J, K7, Ce Ce Peniston, & Jodeci. U-NĒK APROACH also gave a show
stopping performance at the 1993 Black Music Expo in New Jersey. They tied for first
place at Jack The Rapper Tracking with the Future Stars, held in Orlando, Florida, and
was invited to perform at Oxfam America World Festival. U-NĒK APROACH'S success is
still growing due to their many engagements at major night clubs and arenas around
the country.
